FAQ’s

1.Why can’t I just use something like onedrive or google storage for my backup?

Answer: There are several reasons

a. Those services do not overwrite older video automatically

b. Video is not stored in high definition

c. It can only be accessed through the DVR which is useless if the DVR fails.

Solution:AVSS developed a system that backs up video from the AVSS DVR locally AND remotely  in High Definition, overwrites old video when the storage is full , and is accessible through any PC without the DVR.

2.  What if I don’t have IP network cameras?
Most companies only back up IP network cameras and must have a working internet connection at all times to function
SOLUTION: AVSS backs up video from the AVSS DVR. That means video from any analog, TVI, CVI or IP camera connected to the AVSS DVR will be backed up locally and remotely.

What if the internet is down?
AVSS DVRs backup locally even if there is no internet. Remote backup will catch up and continue once the internet is restored.
